I grew up in Central Florida, where most of my time was spent outside, fishing, spring hopping, and being on the water whenever I got the chance. That love for the coast has stayed with me and is still a huge part of who I am today.
Now living in Jacksonville, I’ve built a life I love with my husband, CJ, and our family. These days, my personality is a mix of two worlds. From October through March, you’ll usually find us at Disney, soaking in the atmosphere, enjoying the cooler weather, and celebrating the holidays. But as soon as it warms up, we’re at the sandbar or out on the river every chance we get. Give me all the sunshine and pub subs, y’all!
Growing up, fall also meant tailgating for Florida Gator football games, and I married into a big Miami Dolphins family, so football season is always a fun (and slightly competitive) time in our house. It might dictate our Sundays, but it never keeps us from being on the go. One of our favorite memories was watching the Dolphins beat the Falcons while we were staying in the Disney Cabins, then celebrating with fellow Miami fans we met when looping.
CJ and I also make it a priority to take a few adults-only trips each year, whether for our anniversary or just to get away together. We’ve especially loved exploring different all-inclusive resorts throughout Mexico, and it’s become one of our favorite ways to relax and reset.
While I’ve spent the last 20 years building a career in the healthcare revenue cycle, and truly love what I do, starting Coastal Magic Travel Co has given me the opportunity to pour into something I’m just as passionate about. I love helping others create trips that feel easy, memorable, and completely tailored to them.
